Get it Installed

All hot tubs will need some sort of electrical. You will need to decide if 110v or 220v will be the better option for you. If you do not have 220v installed, you will need a licensed electrician to set this up, we do have electricians that we can recommend. The average for 220v set up is $1,500-$2,000 can be more if you have a long stretch.

Sensible Spas will also give a start up orientation. This goes over the basics of your spa, where items are located, and how to maintain your spa.

Keep it Running

Maintenance is going to be the most important factor! It is important to take notes during the spa start up orientation.

Is your hot tub foaming on the top, turning green, or has weird things coming out of the jets? Check out our FAQ page for your answers!

If you are using the @ Ease Floating Sanitation Ball or in line system, remember- SILVER piece is to be change every month, BLUE piece every 4 months. You should be shocking your spa after each use, 1 tbsp.

Filters should be cleaned ONCE a month at the minimum, should be replaced every year.

Drain, clean, and refill every 3-6 months depending on how much you use your spa.

Check your water pH levels and adjust accordingly.

Salt water options are also available for most Caldera Spas.

Sensible Spas is more than happy to deliver your hot tub. We have a small checklist before we can make this happen:

  • Have you sent a video from your driveway to where the spa would be placed?

  • Do you have any steps/ stairs?

  • What are your gate measurements?

  • Do you have any low overhangs, ac units, sheds, or trees in the way?

  • Do you have electrical set up?

  • Do you have concrete or a pad in place?

These are very important aspects that we will need to know. This way we can prep the right amount of crew and tools.
